When I came up with the idea to make a West Coast themed beat I figured how cool and totally unexpected it would be if a white hip hop artist made a west coast style beat and rapped using west coast slang and talk about things going on on the west coast with the idea to try to unite east and west coast. When I was growing up Biggie and Tupac were in their prime and they started the East vs. West coast rivalry. So right there I came up with the idea and mission to try to unite East against West Coast together through musical love and talent. So that is the story of how I came up with making a west coast style beat and I gotta say it was a lot of fun to record this.
